Miami Futbol Academy Rush

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Miami Futbol Academy Rush, we view player development and success from multiple perspectives. Our comprehensive program begins at the recreational level and advances to the highest tiers of competitive youth soccer in the U.S. As players progress through the developmental stages, their growth is continually assessed and supported by our dedicated training staff. This progress is measured semi-annually and shared with both players and their families, allowing us to track and nurture the advancement of every individual.

Success at Miami Futbol Academy Rush is not solely defined by winning games, leagues, or tournament championships. Instead, we measure success by the achievements of each member on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. Our players are expected to uphold high standards of excellence, including regular attendance at practices and games, respect for fellow players, coaches, and referees, maintaining a high-grade point average, and participating in community service or mentoring younger players.

The foundation of our success lies in the hard work and passion for soccer that our players exhibit from a very young age. This passion is nurtured and guided by our experienced coaching staff, helping players reach their full potential. Many Miami Futbol Academy Rush members go on to play at higher levels, including MLS Next, college soccer programs, and, for some, professional clubs or even the U.S. National Team.

Our mission is to create a new era of youth soccer in Miami, Florida, where every player has the opportunity to achieve greatness on and off the field. Join us as we continue to build a legacy of excellence and foster the next generation of soccer talent.

Club Policies

The Club Policies section serves as the cornerstone for our organization, encapsulating the standards, protocols, and values that govern every aspect of our club’s operations, fostering a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and excellence.

Field Status and Weather Policy

The website administrator will update the field status announcement on the Home page of www.kendallsoccer.com by 5 PM every day and, if possible, issue a general email announcement to all club members if the training fields are closed due to weather conditions. Members may also be notified via email or telephone from the age group coach or team manager.

Kendall SC will provide a safe training environment based on current or forecasted weather conditions. Lightning and proximity of such will be a contributing factor to field closures, along with flooded or saturated ground conditions. If a session is postponed due to lightning, all players and parents must go to their cars immediately and wait for official notification before returning to the fields.

Each respective Kendall SC and Kendall United coach will make the appropriate decision regarding rainout on that given day of training as long as the practice facilities remain open. Each team should have a communication system to notify all team members (examples email, text messages, phone tree). If possible, a training session that is canceled because of rain may be rescheduled on a different day of the week.

League game rainouts are determined by the respective field or league that you will be playing at for that day. Please consult your team manager for details per rainout. Field status for all home games will be updated by Kendall SC on the Club website.

Miami Futbol Academy Rush offers a limited number of scholarships based solely on demonstrated financial need to assist members in paying the club’s annual fees. Additionally, the club provides individual fundraising opportunities to help these members meet their obligations and other expenses.

Miami Futbol Academy Rush values the support provided by parents to their children during their participation in our organization. The role parents play in the lives of soccer players significantly influences their soccer experience. We aim to ensure that this influence remains positive. Our governing bodies and associations emphasize monitoring both players and parents for proper on-the-field and sideline behavior. Below are some simple rules that Miami Futbol Academy Rush parents must observe and consider carefully:

Communication Protocol:

For questions or concerns, parents should first discuss them with their respective coach, followed by the Program Director and VP of the appropriate age group.

Practice Days:

Parents must wait until the practice session is over before approaching the coach.

Game Days:

After the game, parents should ask the team manager to help arrange a meeting time and location with the coach. This meeting should occur no sooner than 24-48 hours after the game.

Behavioral Expectations:

Parents must refrain from shouting insults or verbally abusing referees, coaches of either team, opposing team members, or parents. They should maintain control of their emotions, always demonstrating respect and setting a proper example for their children.

Coaching or shouting instructions from the sidelines is not permitted, as it causes confusion for the players. Parents have entrusted the care and development of their children to the coaches, who should be allowed to perform their duties without interference.

Public criticism of other team members’ play should be avoided to maintain team cohesion and prevent confrontations with other parents.

Sanctions for Violations:

Parents and players will be held responsible for their decisions and actions.

Sanctions for violations:

1st Offense: Parent is suspended from attending the next two games and training sessions of the team until the suspension is completed.

2nd Offense (includes violation of the penalty for the 1st offense): Parent is suspended from all games and training sessions for the remainder of the soccer calendar year.

3rd Offense (includes violation of the penalty for the 2nd offense): Both parent and player are expelled from the club.

Maintaining Perspective:

It’s important for parents to remember that their child’s participation in soccer should not overshadow other aspects of life.

Emotions arising from team or individual performance should be managed appropriately, with the understanding that the parent-child relationship extends beyond competitive soccer.

By adhering to these guidelines, parents contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for all players in Miami Futbol Academy Rush. Thank you for your cooperation in upholding our standards of conduct.

Player Attendance Policy

At Miami Futbol Academy Rush, player attendance at all training sessions and games is mandatory, except in cases with appropriate excuses.

Attendance Requirements:

Regular Attendance:

Players are required to attend all training sessions and games unless they have a valid excuse.

High School Season Priority:

During the high school season, members who are part of high school teams should prioritize high school practices and games. However, exceptions are made for the three days preceding a club tournament. Players should refrain from training with both their high school and club teams on the same day.

Excused Absences:

Excused practice and game absences require notification to the coach and may include:

Family emergencies, player medical illnesses, or injuries.

School Functions.

High school soccer games and practices.

College Entrance Examinations.

Religious Events.

Out-of-Town Vacations.

Consequences of Absenteeism:

Excessive absenteeism from training and/or games may impact playing time and could ultimately result in the player being suspended or removed from the team.

Miami Futbol Academy Rush emphasizes the importance of commitment and consistency in player attendance. By adhering to these guidelines, players contribute to the overall success and cohesion of the team.

At Miami Futbol Academy Rush, all members are responsible for paying their travel expenses promptly, whether to the Team Manager or the Club.
